Villa Hire Co. provides short-term hire of pool safety equipment, inflatables, toys, welcome packs, and related villa experience services to guests staying in private villas in and around Hoi An, Vietnam. We operate as a service business and do not manufacture, certify, or warrant any equipment beyond its intended recreational or deterrent use.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Vietnamese law, Villa Hire Co., its owners, employees, and representatives shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising directly or indirectly from the use of any equipment provided under hire, including but not limited to pool safety fencing, inflatables, pool slides, float vests, or any other item supplied as part of a booking.

All equipment is provided in good working condition for recreational and deterrent purposes only. It is the sole responsibility of the customer and any supervising adults to ensure the safety of all persons, particularly children, at all times during the hire period.

Pool safety fencing — specific disclaimer

Pool safety fencing supplied by Villa Hire Co. is a removable deterrent product. It is not a certified pool safety barrier, does not comply with any specific national or international pool fencing standard, and is not designed or warranted to prevent access to a swimming pool by a child or any other person.

The installation of pool safety fencing by Villa Hire Co. does not constitute a guarantee of safety and does not remove or reduce the duty of care of any adult supervising children near water. Children must be actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times when near or in a swimming pool, regardless of whether fencing is installed.

By confirming a booking that includes pool safety fencing, the customer acknowledges that they have read and understood this disclaimer and accepts full responsibility for the supervision and safety of all persons in their care during the hire period.

Governing law and jurisdiction
